Yearbook is probably my favorite class. In this class we just work on pages for the yearbook, using myhjyearbook.com. In our google drive, Ms. Getzen has shared hundreds of photos of the kids and staff around the school. My task in this year's yearbook was the Hall of fame page and some sport pages. For the Hall of fame I had to decide on topics that I thought my peers would enjoy. After I found my topics, I created polls to send out to each grade selecting their student of choice. For the sports pages, I just had to insert photos and interview some of the kids on the teams. I’d ask them questions like, “what got you into….”, or “when did you start….” I'm still currently working on the sports page, but with everything I have done I am satisfied with. I had fun finding the kids during yearbook class and taking pictures of them to upload in the hsll of fame. I'm also really happy with my poll responses. Majority of the kids responded which made the selctions easy.
21st century skills interpersonal skills- While I was creating and designing my pages for the yearbook, I gained some interpersonal skills. I’ve never been in yearbook or been in the same class as most of the kids there but I’ve grown to get along with them very well, and we all work effectively. I like yearbook because it’s a fun class and it brings a lot of joy and positivity to the students when they see the final product.
