Humanities is an ehh class to me. We have a routine so it's mostly the same stuff everyday all year long. In quarter 3 we finished the decade project which I am super proud of. That project was fun and cool to learn about and my teacher loved my final presentation. we started reading perks of a wildflower, and currently we're working on an essay on how we relate to the book. one thing I really like about humanities is the current events. It's a short worksheet that we complete, but everyday we have class we watch CNN10. I like learning about our everyday lives, what's affected, the economy, places and events happening and all that daily information. Some days I watch HNN and do my current events on Hawaii news when I'm interested in what's going on in the islands. Civic Literacy and Engagement skills are used when I complete these current event worksheets. It shows that I can analyze and have an understanding of our community both locally and globally and find ways to shape my life and community under certain circumstances. Theres nothing really i'd improve on in this class, im happy with my work and my grade.
